Dr. Carrie Istre

I am honored to be a part of the San Jacinto Bobcat family and look forward to serving our students and families.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation from Stephen F. Austin State University, a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Houston, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Liberty University.

With 28 years of experience in education, I have had the privilege of teaching and supporting children from birth through age 22. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about developing the whole child by creating strong foundations that foster lifelong learning, growth, and success. I believe every child deserves to feel valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

I am excited to meet and support the youngest San Jacinto Bobcats and their families this year. I look forward to partnering with our staff and community to help every child thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
