Community Youth Services Specialist

Hello, my name is Gladys Yamilet Reyes, and I am honored to serve as the new Youth Services Specialist (CYS) at San Jacinto Elementary. Originally from Venezuela, I bring more than 15 years of experience working with children, families, and communities.
I hold a bachelor's degree in Psychology and recently relocated to Baytown from San Antonio, Texas, where I served as a Family Support Worker for 11 years.
My passion is supporting and advocating for students and families by providing intervention services, supportive counseling, resources, referrals, and other assistance to help them overcome challenges and achieve success. I look forward to partnering with our students, families, and staff to create a positive and supportive environment where every child can thrive.
